On September 17, 2009, Adobe Software Legalization team kick started the Value Intellectual Property (VIP) Campaign. With the initiative, Adobe copyrights, information on software piracy, and the risk of using unlicensed software were circulated to help our customers protect their business from violating intellectual property laws.
While the program is appreciated by many, we constantly received news from the public on individuals and corporate entities, infringing Adobe copyrights; Adobe is working very closely with the Business Software Alliance (BSA) to conduct enforcement actions against persons or entities selling, distributing and using unauthorized or pirated copies of Adobe software.
We strongly urge all users to:
- Identify and address all risks of software infringement by conducting internal reviews on your purchases and usages;
- Purchase licenses only though Adobe authorized channels;
