Recently, there have been increasing announcements of enforcement actions by the authorities against organizations violating intellectual property rights (IPR) and committing software piracy. Those organizations being caught for using pirated software will face serious repercussions in their workplace due to seizures made by the authorities on their computers and other peripherals related to the offense committed. The organization will also face Criminal actions by the authorities and Civil claims by Rights holders for IPR violations. Adobe as a member of the Business Software Alliance (BSA) fully supports the Government's direction to call for action.
